Can Bleeding While Still On Pill Be A Symptom Of Premenopause?
In July of 2013 I had a small polyp removed from my uterus. I was bleeding between periods while on the pill. Strange for me as I'm 43 & have been on the BC pill since 17 except to have 2 children. Once removed it took a couple months before I no longer bled between periods. Now in January of 2014 I'm bleeding while I'm still taking the pill! I'm not due for my next period for a week. Help, I'm going crazy! Could this be perimenopause? Or should I not bleed at all while on the pill! Thanks Tammy
There could be two causes for your presentation, either you are right and this could be a premenopausal bleed or it could be related to a hormonal imbalance brought about by the use of the pill. Please consult your doctor for the same.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
