Hi,
For impaired cholesterol levels like high LDL and triglycerides it is better to find the cause. Your current cholesterol levels will determine whether you need treatment or not based on many factors like your age, family history of heart diseases, other risk factors. Moreover a few other tests like thyroid function, renal function and liver function need to be tested. So it is advisable that you visit a physician who can assess you clinically and recommend tests to find the cause and level of derangement in lipids and accordingly suggest treatment.
Thanks
