Can Clindamycin And Nicotinamide For Acne Cause Skin Peeling?
Hi, i am suffering from severe pimple problems. I am using clindamycin and nicotinamide gel. Though it helped a bit but now my skin is peeling off and and its very dissapointing. So, i want to ask whether peeling up of skin is a side effect of this medicine?? If so then what to apply to reduce whit spots occured?
The clindamycine does not causes the peeling but that may be the side effect of the nicotinamide. And it occurs especcialy if the gel is used in day times.
My opinion is that you can split the medications, You can apply the clindiamycin in aques form in the morning hours and can use the nicotinamide at night.
But my advice is that better choice than nicotinamide is adapelene which should be applied night times starting from 15 mins/day at night and gradually increasing the time duration for the same.
Discontinuing the nicotinamide in mornig times definitly will hepl decreasing the peeling.
