Can Cold Weather Cause Death Of Person Having Gall Bladder Abscess?
Hi my father died in May of this year. He was 83 but had been in relatively good health. He was diabetic since his late sixties. When he was hospitalised the doctors said he was in septic shock due to an absess which had developed near his gall bladder. He had to have major surgery and suffered three strokes before he died. We have since learned that he had no heating in his house for some months before he died and we had unprecedently cold weather conditions over the winter months. Some nights the temperature was as low as minus sixteen. I am wondering how much this contributed to his death. Any help you can offer would be appreciated as it is really disturbing me.
