Can Epilepsy Be Found From The Medical Records Without Being Told?
I recently got a job as a engineer in construction, I suffer from epilepsy but I was discharged about 3-4 years ago, but im required to continue taking my medication for the rest of my life as they are unsure whether I still suffer from it. Basically my new job is asking to declare any medicines I take and if I suffer from epilepsy. I lied that I didn't in my application form but now I have to submit another form for my personal records could I lose my job if I don't tell them?
hi thanks for healthcaremagic I dont know in which country you are. But according to medical laws, company cannt discriminate a candidate on basis of any illness. second if in ur country all medical records are computerized, then they could trace it from past treatment records.
Thanks
