i am 18, 120 pounds and 5, 8. I haven't gotten much exercise recently and am recovering from a respiratory infection. the symptoms of my infection are gone but now i can't stop yawning and have headaches. i am very stressed on the side, what could this be? lack of exercise? migraine? I want this to go away
Your symptoms could be related to sleep apnea or low blood oxygenation (related to the respiratory infection).
I recommend consulting with your doctor for a careful physical exam and some tests:
- a chest X ray study - complete blood count - PCR, sedimentation rate for inflammation - blood gas analysis - blood electrolytes - respiratory function tests.
A polysomnography may be needed to exclude possible sleep apnea.
Hope to have been helpful!
