Can Herbal Weight Loss Medication Cause Blood In Urine?
I am 36 yrs old and started having blood in urine without pain.I am working out with a trainer and have been for 4 months but have been increasing my workouts alot over the last 2 weeks.I also started taking an herbal weight loss pill 2 weeks ago just one pill a day and was wondering if that could be causing it. I know that exercise and dehydration can cause blood in urine also and I am not always good with drinking alot of water so maybe the entire combination could be the problem?
Vigorous exercise can cause trauma to bladder or breakdown of RBC leading to blood in urine.Dehydration can cause concentrated urine and increase the risk of infections. Urinary tract infections and Renal stones should be ruled out.Renal function should also be tested. You can stop the drug and notice any symptom change. Test results can indicate the cause and help in further management. Stay hydrated by taking plenty of fluids.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
