Can Hernia, Be Related With Stomach Pain And Heavy Menses Flow?

I am having very sharp pains my my lower stomach. I have been on birth control for awhile now, and i am on the one that doesnt give you your period. Therefore, im getting my period or whatever it is, for aboue nine days now. It goes heavy then light in the matter of 10 minutes. Im afraid its a hernia ??!! Im scared, so i would like to know asap !! please help

A hernia would cause pain if it becomes strangulated or if associated with obstruction of the bowel. If you have no previous history of a hernia then it is unlikely that your pain is due to any hernia complications.

Since the pain is severe, it would be best to have your abdomen examined by a doctor.
This is the best way to determine the source of the pain.
