Can Hormonal Treatment Cure Acne Without Side-effects?
iam 19 years old, an unmarried girl. iam sufferiing from severe problems of acne. few of my friends suggested me its because of hormonal problems. but as ia itself a science student, i think that hormonal treatment can cause a side effect. i want a suggestion from u so that i can get rid of this acne and scars left on the face permanently

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have noticed acne since couple of years which is due to hormonal changes and because skin has increased sensitivity of getting pigmented and it leads to post inflammation hyper-pigmentation. You can go for hormonal treatment only for short term basis as its excess use can leads to complications. You should apply Meladerm cream and it is purely safe to use as this is combination of hydroquinone + Tretinoin + steroid and apply it at night time. I would suggest you to drink plenty of water. If condition doesn't get well in a week then consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like minocyclin, steroid ointment and may recommend chemical peeling for marks. Apply aloe vera gel at night.
