Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Basically, after one C section, trial of normal labour is called VBAC - vaginal birth after Cesarean section.
Ideally it should be attempted when the gap between the two pregnancies ( deliveries ) is atleast 18 months.
So that way too it is risky for you to attempt VBAC.
The parameters which estimate the
gestational age of the fetus are all normal.
Also, the cervical length is fine.
What is worrisome is the thickness of the lower uterine segment.
That estimates the integrity of the scar of the previous C section.
When it measures less than 4 mm, there are increased chances of rupture ( giving way ) of this scar while attempting labour the next time.
In your case, it is 3.5 mm, so it is definitely thinned out.
So please weigh the increased risks of attempting VBAC this time.
I would advice a planned C section, as that is the best bet for you.
All the best
Take care.
