I am insulin resistant and restricted to a 1200 calorie diet. I found out that I am pregnant and my endocrinologist stated I only needed the 1200 calories until the 5th month and then could increase to 1500. I am looking to see if this is hard on the baby at all.
HI I really appreciate your concern, if this the case of hypercholesterolemia then better try to reduce the cholesterol although this may not affect the baby if the blood sugar is under control, still care need to be taken, hope this is helps, take care and have a nice day.
