Can Insulin Intake Reduce The Chances Of Pregnancy?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...hi , i failed my GTT test but my hba1c level is below 6%. Am i diabetic? I am trying for a baby , would like to know whether my insulin level will affect the chances of me getting pregnant. I am having only folic supplements tablets.

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion the sugar levels effect the conception.GTT is a screening test done during pregnancy to rule out diabetes in pregnancy.In your case FBS (Fasting blood sugar) and PPBS (post prandial blood sugar) will help to know the status of diabetes.Dont worry.Avoid stress and continue folic acid supplements.Low insulin
level along with high sugars levels is associated with congenital anamolies in fetus.
