my wife was suffering from intestinal TB 8 years ago.then she was treated by Dr. for 6 month treatment anti TB.Then she was again detected TB PCR TEST positive ,after complition of treatment 8 months later.and again she take anti TB drugs by the advice of DR. Now after 8 yrs. she again feel same symptoms as constipation for 5 days, bloating in abdomain ,Her letest CT Scan ,ENDOSCOPY,COLONOSCOPY reports shows Few prominent subcentimeter sized mesenteric Lymph nodes(CT SCAN),Stomatch Reveals mild Antral Gastritis(ENDOSCOPY),& normal colonoscopy .She has Infirtility problem also. Now she has ceviour Abdominal pain.Should TB Treatment repeat once again?
Before starting TB treatment, we need to some evidence that this is TB. None of the reports you mentioned points towards tuberculosis. Subcentimetric lymph nodes can be present normally as well. And gastritis and abdominal pain has multiple causes.
So I think at this point of time we should try to find out the cause and treat the gastritis rather than starting antitubercular therapy. Any history of fever, weight loss, and symptoms are usually for longer periods at least 15-20 days. Is there any gynecological problem like discharge or menstrual problems?
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
