Can Magnesium Sulphate Paste Be Applied On Bartholin Cyst And How To Dress It?
Hi, I m just hoping you can help, I have a bartholin cyst (figured out from online research), can I put magnesium sulphate paste on it and if so should I put a dressing on and if yes....well....how? is sterile gauze and microporous tape ok? (Not sure how on earth that will work but humour me) , thank you for any advice in advance!
Hi, If there is Bartholincyst and if there is no infection nothing to worry. If size increases or it becomes infected then it should be excised with sac. This will give you permanent relief from cyst. At present applying Magnesium sulphate cream i think has no value. Consult your doctor and get it diagnosed. Ok and take care.
Hi, Thanks for your question. Magnesium sulphate paste is not a treatment for Bartholin's cyst. It is treated by surgery only. Please see a Gynecologist in your area for confirmation of diagnosis & proper treatment, which may include excision or Marsupilazation of the cyst. Take care.
