Can Medication For Irregular Periods Cause Nose Bleed?
My 17 year old daughter went on the pill to regulate her hormones because her period wasn t consistently coming monthy. She wIas on it 4 months. She just started getting nose bleeds. Think it s related?If not, what are sudden nose bleeds with no history of them connected to?

Neither Levonorgestrel (commonly prescribed progesterone preparation) nor Ethinyl Estradiol (commonly prescribed estrogen preparation) causes nose bleeding.
Nose bleeding is common during the very cold, very hot and dry season due to nasal mucosal dryness. Consult ENT specialist.
