Hello and welcome to HCM,
Yes, it is possible for men to get pelvic inflammatory disease with chlamydia.
The chlamydial infection can get transmitted from male to female and vice versa.
Chlamydia is known to cause chronic pelvic inflammatory disease.
A chronic pelvic pain in the absence of any discharge is suggestive of prostatic infection, epididymal infection or testicular inflammation. or a combined inflammation of both epididymus and testis (epididymo-orchiditis)
Prostatic massage needs to be done to look for any evidence of prostatic infection.
An ultrasound of the testis and epididymus needs to be done to look for any mass formation.

Thanks and take care
