Can Mild Fever Be A Part Of Recovery Process After Liposuction?
I had a tummy-tuck and Liposuction 7-days ago. I have had a very low-grade fever for the past two-three days. My incision looks fine and I m not in any pain, also finished my antibiotic treatment today. Is the fever part of the recovery process? Rosanna

Fever occurs as a result of the body's inflammatory response to infection or trauma.
After a surgical procedure, fever that occurs in the first few days is due to the initial inflammatory response to the trauma of the procedure.
If fever occurs after the initial 3 to 4 day period, however, infection must be ruled out.
It would be best to visit your doctor for an assessment.
