Can moth ball cakes cause itching? My mother has used them for years in her closets, but she has started itching months ago and 2 doctors and many treatments later can't cure her. They thought it was scabies, but it's not. Went to an allergist, but found nothing. I contend it's the moth balls. She is soooo miserable that they had to give her valium just to sleep at night. She's 87.
