Can Nausea, Diarrhea And Discomfort In Stomach Be Due To Over Dosage Of Medication For Hydrocodone Acetometophin?
have been taking prescription for hydrocodone acetometophin for about a year now have overdone my prescription this month and the ammount is 7.5 tabs 4x daily i have run out due to excessive usage can you tell me what i can expect? i have had nausia and some diahreah and my stomache is in a knot it is not unbearable but i would like to know how long i can expect this to last? i have 8 more days until my prescription is renewed thank you for your assistance
Hi welcome to health care magic forum. The over dose of the hydrocodone and acetaminophin, may cause nausea, and gastric irritation, rarely may cause the diarrhea. If the diarrhea is more, i advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ofloxacin, omeprazole, domperidone, and loperamide, to suit even the bacterial diarrhea. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to prevent such break outs. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.Thank you.
