Can Numbness In Leg Be Healed Using Prednisone After Diagnosis Of Multiple Sclerosis?

Hello, 26 years ago I was paralyzed and after so many tests, nothing certain was found that I suffered from. I was given a high dose of prednizon and months later I could walk again. The right leg never regained 100% the strength but I was happy I was making it out of be without problem. The last year though I feel my right leg is starting to get num again, it lasts sometimes 30min sometimes half day. I used to go to the MS clinic when I was paralyzed 26 years ago but for years I didn't have any other symptoms they closed my file.
I mentioned it to my doctor last week in case I should have an MRI done or something and she said..." no, you don't have MS, MS is gone...how would she know if she wasn't my doctor then and she doesn't have any of my tests? ...What would you recommend I do? I am 60 yrs old. I'll appreciate your opinion.

hi
i think you would know that the multiple sclerosis is a periodic thing
it happens
then stabilizes for many years
and then you mighty get another episode-

it seems you have not has a second episode
maybe that is why the dr says that u dont have ms

i would suggest an mri brain and spine
that way we can rule out what you had
a simple stroke
or multiple sclerosis

prednisolone can be decided accordingly

best of luck
