Can Painful Tailbone, Constipation And Diarrhea Be Indicative Of Rectal Cancer Or Colon Cancer?
I have severe pain right under my tailbone. If I push up under my tailbone it is very soar. It hurts to sit or stand. It also can be felt slightly in my left buttock. I have not fallen or had any other injury. I had a baby 14 months ago and I did not have this feeling then. I am afraid of colon cancer or rectal cancer. I am 29, female. I do have bowel problems (constipation, diarrhea), I get bloated and then it goes away but comes back. I have had the tailbone pain for about 3 weeks now and it seems to be getting worse. I have an apt with my PCP in a few days. What could be the problem if I have not had a fall? Could this be cancer? My father has oral cancer but that is from HPV I guess. No other cancer problems in my family that I know of.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. It appears to be a boil, deep in that area, and growing in size, and causing pain, hence it is causing pain in the left buttock also.cancer usually may not reach it this age. I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. The surgeon may feel it by palpation. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and Protein rich foods to avoid such pains. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
