Can Piece Of Bacon Cause Problem To My Tube Or Lungs?
A piece of bacon must have went down wrong. I now have pain in my back and chest. I have taken tums thinking it was heartburn, but not helping. Could the piece of bacon gone into my lungs or do you think it just scratched the tube and will heal on its own?

As you describe, it appears that you had a scratch, or impact on the wall of the esophagus, and hence the pain.
If it is in the lungs, the the condition is different,and the patient is difficult to be comfortable.There will be difficulty to breathe, and there will be violent cough.
I advise you to consult a gastroentrologist for diagnosis. You may need to have a esophagoscopy, for confirmation.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms omeprazole, domperidone, and anaesthetic antacid gel.
