Can Pregnancy Be The Reason For Weight Gain, Increase In Appetite And Headache?
Hello, i have a 7 month old son and was not planning on having anymore kids for awhile so at my six week check up i had my second Mirena IUD put in, lately i have had a dramatic increase in appetite, some weight gain, quite a few headaches, really bad heartburn like when i was pregnant with my son, and my biggest worry is that i might be pregnant again. what is your intake on this?

The symptoms you are experiencing can be from the Mirena as well. So the first thing would be to rule out pregnancy with the help of a home pregnancy test, as the mirena will have to be removed immediately if at all pregnancy is detected. But in my opinion, the cause for your symptoms is most probably the mirena and not pregnancy.
