Can Pregnancy Happen After Stopping Birth Control Pills?

hi there i was wondering i had sex with my girlfriend yesterday, she was on the birth control pill so we were safe but today she decided to did not want to take that pill any more, my question is could she by any chance get pregnant from the sex we had yesterday if she stops taking the pill today ?

Yes . After sex the sperms remain alive for 3 days and now if she stops to take the tablets than she might ovulate that is release her egg and may get pregnant. Hence advice her not to stop the tablets.
