Can Pregnancy Occur Despite Using Contraceptives?

iv been taking the birth control pill loseasonique and i just started my 3rd month packet on monday and this is the packet where i am suppose to come on my period the last weekand i started to notice bleeding brown/pinkish color discharge in my underwear also today i been having stmach aches but it feels like gas. and i had recently had unprotected sex on this past saturday. is it possible that i could be pregnant or is it just the birth control

Of course, there are always very rare events, but it is very unlikely that you are pregnant if you were consistently taking the LoSeasonique every day around the same time.
