Can Retracted Eardrums And Negative Air Pressure Cause Anxiety And Depression?

have been told by ent doc that my tubes are clear although I have retracted eardrums and negative air pressure. he said I probably have malfunction of eustation tubes. have had this problem for 4 years and is causing me anxiety and depression. can anything be done.

hi,
eustachian tube malfunction can cause retracted drums.
you can instill decongestant nose drops like otrivin 3 drops 3 times a day in each nostril for 5 days and follow it up with steam inhalation.
chewing gum and blowing balloons can also improve tube fuction.
