Can Severe Pain Occurring While Sitting Can Be Related To The Surgery Done On The Tail Bone?

Hi I had surgery about a year ago to remove 2 skin tags on my rectum and since then I have had pain in my tailbone. I don t know if it s just a coincidence or if it is related. The pain seems to come more when I sit too long on a hard surface. BTW I am 51 years old and peri menopausal.

Hello,

Skin tag removal may not be associated with your present problem. Avoid using hard surface for sitting and get x-ray done for sacrum after consulting an orthopedic surgeon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Gaurav Katiyar,
