Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement, Dr. Mukesh Chugh's Response
Hi Thanks for writing your query. It is not uncommon to have slipped capital epiphysis on the other side if you had it on one side. Some surgeon does the prophylactic pinning (surgery) on the normal side also. My advice would be going back to your Orthopaedic surgeon for final diagnosis at the earliest. Take care and I shall be glad to answer any further query. Regards Dr.chugh Orthopaedic surgeon http://bit.ly/drmchugh
