Can Smoking Cause Lung Cancer?

My age is 22. I have been smoking for past two years . I didnt smoke daily . Smoked occasionally , say 4 times a week. I quitted smoking before two months since i had breathing problems. I consulted a doctor regarding the same before . He conducted chest x-ray . spirometry test . He said my lungs were clean and no signs of lung cancer . He asked me to come after two months if i still have breathing problems . I have few doubts . Is it the initial stage of lung cancer? .. Does two years of smoking cause lung cancer? .. it will be really helpfull if you can clear my doubts.

Smoking for 2 years will not cause lung cancer and since your x ray chest was normal u do not need to worry.
Steam inhalation and tab asthalin 4 mg thrice daily after food for 3 days will help reduce your breathing problem.
