Can Smoking Weed While Wearing Holter Monitor Be Detected?
Have just taken off holter monitor, smoked weed while wearing it, should I disclose to physician or put "drinking". Heart pounded during smoking, but also on other occasions when anxious. Want to know if smoking will be a specific problem, hence putting "alcohol" for that one episode to distinguish it. Will they be able to tell, if I disclose will they pass info on. non citizen of Usa so concerned.
Cannabis increase the heart rate and so, if you do not disclose it to your doctor, he may start looking for other causes of increased heart rate, subjecting you to needless tests and medications. Alcohol will not be able to explain the raised heart rate. As for the possible repercussions of the disclosure, I do not expect any if you are not in any special circumstances where passing on such information is mandatory for the doctor.
Best wishes.
