Can Swallowing A Thin Chicken Bone Cause Stabbing Pain In Stomach?

My son swallowed a small chicken bone thin in width but a couple of inches long. He is having no trouble breathing, but has been complaining of a stabbing feeling in his stomach. He has had a fever off and on, but that could be due to a cold?!?! Should I take him to get an x-ray? The stabbing feeling comes and goes and seems very mild. What should I do?

No need of xray. The size you have described wont cause stabbing pain inside the stomach. Take Cap. Esomeprazole 40mg one before breakfast for one week.
