Can Switching Pills From Hyan To Trigestrel Cause Problems In Conceiving?

i ued to be on HYAN, then i consulted for my acne problem i am on ACNE treament (ACNETANE tablets) then half a month i decided to switch from HYAN to Trigestrel. i would like to know if nothing has been disturbed so i can fall pregnant because i have switched pills from HYAN to Trigestrel.

Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
HYAN (Levonogestrel ) & Trigestrel ( Ethyl esradiol & Levonorgestrel ). Both of them are hormonal contraceptives & both would prevent pregnancy... only difference being their composition- single & two hormone contraception...
I hope the change was made after finishing last pack of HYAN & new pack of Trigestrel was started on 5th day of menstruation. If not so a bit of hormonal imbalance would occur to disturb menstruation for the month.
Because of the difference in composition.. you should have additional contraception ( barrier like condom ) in first week of change.to have complete contraceptive cover during the changing phase.
