Can Synthroid Or Crestor Cause Heart Palpitations?
Last week my doctor increased my synthyroid from 0.88 to 100mg and also prescribed me to take crestor 5mg. I now have heart palpitations, feeling like anxiety, I have to try and catch my breath. Is it the increase in sythroid or is it the crestor causing these symptoms?
Welcome to HCM. I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

Palpitation and anxiety are usually side effects of synthyroid. But it can also occur rarely with crestor. Nervousness and muscle pain can be seen with crestor. Please consult your physician and have yourselves evaluated.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
