Can Tablets Be Taken Safely To Regularize Menstrual Cycles?

My gynaecologist has pescribed this tablet as periods have been late for the last 3 months. He says I should take this pill for 3 menstrual cycles to get my periods back on track. I suffer from migranes and am 44 years old. Is it appropriate to take this medication ? Thank you
