Can Taking Ibuprofen Be Safe For Pain Due To Hit At Back Of Head?

Tonight I fell on a sheet of ice and hit the back of my head really hard...it took me about 30 - 60 seconds to focus (maybe from the shock but I think I was dizzy initially). I took a pain pill (ibuprofen) just in case. My research on the internet says not to sleep more than 2 hrs at a time for the next 24 hrs and to have someone to check on you while you are asleep but I live alone and don't have insurance. Should I worry? When should I become worried?
