Can the drug Diamox used to treat Puesdotumor Cerbri cause panic or anxiety attacks? I have been taking Diamox to treat elevated intercranial pressure for 6 months and the panic attacks just started and I have never had one before now. Can it be from the medication. I am an otherwise healthy person, I am 26 and a female.

The common side effects of Diamox are hypersensitivity;rash;tingling in hands and feets;confusion;headache;loss of appetite;bone marrow depression;drowsiness;depression etc.There is no side effect exactly panic but it may be possible that after a long term use the depression can lead to panic which cannot be said exactly.
