My TSH level is around 10. Iam being advised to take thyronorm 62.5 mcg. Iam taking 5omcg of thyronorm for last 3 years and 62.5mcg for last 3 months. For the last 9 months Iam suffering form hypoglycemia and Iam getting shivering and my glucose level dropping below 60 2 to 3 hours after taking breakfast, meals. Iam advised to take food for every 2 hours to over come this. My question is hypoglycemia is due to thyronorm tablets. My height 169 cm, weight 78kg age 51 years.Thanking you Winston
No, thyronorm does not cause hypoglycemia.. You need to check for other causes particularly Insulinoma..
