Can Two Short Term Pain Pills Be Taken Together While Scheduled To Have Neck Surgery?

I take Norfolk as a pain relieved. I am having neck surgery Thursday & the Norco is not managing my pain as it is worse. I managed to get an appointment Monday with my Dr. Is it a problem taking 2 short term pain pills ( class 3 & 2 ) getting a script filled? I heard federal law says you cant take 2 in the same day. I live in Ohio

Hi,

You can take two pills in case of severe pain. Bit keep in mind that excessive use of pain killers might cause deleterious effects on your body including gastritis and kidney injury.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
