I m not very keen on eating meat but I think I get low on vit B12. I get really tired sometimes and find that vit B12 helps but I seem to get headaches/migraines which seems to be caused by them. Maybe I m taking too much? I get a reaction if I take half a tablet per day. I weigh about 47 kg and my iron levels have been checked and they are okay. I presume the best way is to eat meat sometimes, how much would I need? Jen

Hi Welcome to HCM
See Vitamin B12 is a water soluble vitamin. It means even if you take excess of it will be excreted out from the body and hence will not cause any problem . It is very unlikely for vit b12 to cause headache. One cause could be the smell of tablet . I advise you to try another brand vit B12 and see the difference.
