Can We Overcome The Recurrent Appearance Of Moles And Skin Tags Or Should They Be Removed ?
I have skin prone to moles and skin tags. In particular I have a growing number of skin tags or warts on my neck, some are brown in colour, some are skin colour. Recently, they have become itchy, hot and inflamed. The pharmacist gave me some cream which reduced the itchiness and rash which resembled dermatitis. This then became dry so I am treating with E 45 lotion.
I would like to have some of these tags/warts removed as I am very self-conscious of them so wear my hair long. I am 46 and female.
I can understand your concern for the moles and tags in yourself. You have not told the exact history and time period since you have these moles and skin tags. Your age is quite important in guiding you for the exact treatment.
Moles and skin tags are basically genetically determined and are most often seen in persons with family history.
Skin tags in particular are seen in obese persons with family history of diabetes.
So reduce your weight if yo are overweight and keep a continuous watch on your sugar level.
Both moles and skin tags can be easily removed by simple radio-frequency ablation. You can talk to a dermatologist fr the same.
Take care.
