Can Wisdom Teeth Be Responsible For Petite Epileptic Seizures?

Can wisdom teeth be responsible for petite epileptic seasures ? Patient is 18 years old and complaining of sore upper wisdom teeth breaking through & getting epileptic seasures. I could not find any study done on this subject. Thanks.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
During the severe pain,dehydration, or severe infection,one can have seizures, due to the transient ischemia, of the brain, but usually recover by his own. This may be an act of dizziness, due to hypo volemia.
The treatment for wisdom tooth ,if it is so severe,is the excision of the tooth, by surgery.
I advise you to consult a dental surgeon to evaluate the diagnosis and treatment.
If the seizures continue for longer time i usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms phenitoin sodium, along with the medicines for the pain of the tooth.
