Can Yolk Sac Found In Ultrasound Be A Sign Of Pregnancy?

I went to get my iud taken out and replaced with a new one, after the new iud was inserted I had to get an ultrasound to make sure placement was correct. As I m getting the ultrasound the tech finds a yolk sac! Could this be incorrect ?? I had a urine pregnacy test and it was negative. My doctor ordered hcg lab work but it s the weekend and I m a nervous wreak!

Hi,I had gone through your query and understand your concerns. Yes, yolk sac is a sign of pregnancy and it may be occured as all contraceptive had a failure rate at different percentage.
