Can Yolk Sac Turn Into A Fetus?
Hi I am 8 weeks 2 day pregnant in my first pregnancy. I have had an USs which confirmed a live fetus it also showed a yolk sac which the dr thought was pulsating. I was told it was twins and then possibly a single pregnancy. I am being re scanned in 3 weeks. Is it possible the yolk sac will turn in to another baby?

sometimes the ultrasound may show 2 gestational sac or some other features suspicious of twins. It is best to repeat usg in 3 week. The yolk sac is a part of growing fetus. It cannot turn into another fetus.
