Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
As per your complain the large
blue veins under the tongue are normal structures and are
LINGUAL VEINS one prominent vein located on either side of the midline on the under surface of tongue..
If there is no other symptoms like swelling or tightness you need not to worry as they are normal structures and there is no pathology associated..
As you are taking
CELEXA [CITALOPRAM] which is an anti-depressant and it is used to treat
depression and in some cases Celexa can cause dialated veins known as
Varicose veins but only in case of Celexa Withdrawal..
So you need not to worry in this case also as Celexa is also not the culprit that can cause and problem..
In short you are having the normal appearing lingual veins and there is no abnormality..
If still you want to confirm you can send me imaged of the underside of tongue and post them by going to my profile and clicking on "ASK ME A QUESTION" for a more detailed discussion..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards..
