Hello dear, multilevel degenerative changes in spine represent age related changes in the cervical spine. Cervical collar is usually advisable if the changes are mild as in your case with physiotherapy. But the nerve sheath tumor as described is of concern and it is advisable to consult to a neurosurgeon for further management.
