Changed Loratabs From Morphine. Unable To Breath, Sleep, Leg Restless, Heart Attack. All Withdrawal Symptoms?
my doctor had me on morphine 60 mg time release three times per day and 30 mg of morphine every six hours per day for seven years. he took me off of it cold turkey and put me on loratabs three times a day I was in the hospital within two days I couldn't breath good they put me back on morphine while I was there when I was released I was sent home with loratabs I have been very sick going through withdraws my questions are could I still be in withdraws I wake up everynight with my legs restless and will not stay still I cannot sleep I have to sit on my legs my next question is my heart doctor called after I had a ekg and said sometime between july28 when I was in hospital and now I have had a heart attack could taking the morphine away cause the heart attack
Morphine is an opiod drug. yes it have withdrawl symptoms. You should not stop it suddenly. It should be slowly tapered. You are taking 60mg three times which is a high dose. so slowly make it two times and than one time and reduce it to half. This will take another 2 weeks get out of this drug.
