Chapped Lip In The Middle With Slight Circle Around Scabbed Area. History Of Kissing. Possible HPV?

Hello,
Thank you for your time I appreciate you viewing and responding to my concern. In February my top lip right in the middle, kinda touching lower lip, got chapped. It is now June and it is still chapped in the same place. There looks like there is a slight circle around the area that will sometimes scab then fall off. I kissed a girl a few days before the "chapped" lip appeared. What is this, could it be simply a chapped lip that is having a hard time healing? I drink a lot of fluids. Or is this something like HPV? But I only kissed the girl. Again thank you for your time!

Hello
Thanks for your query.
HPV can be transmitted via kissing.
If the sore on the lip hasnt healed since long, you would do well to consult your Physician and have an opinion on it.
Meanwhile, have safe protected sex always.
Take care
