Hello beckybindasbro , greetings from healthcaremagic.com
I have gone through case scenario of your mother , though i would like to know when does she has this kind of symptoms , at night ? or through out the day intermittently ?. The history is suggestive of features of Variant angina . You have not mentioned any co-morbid condition like diabetes , hypertension, previous cardiac ailments , kidney disorder which needs to be evaluated to come to a significant conclusion. You have mentioned her ECG and Echocardiogram are within normal limits, however variant/ prinzmetal angina are generally not picked by these general investigations and one has to go for angiography or thallium scintigraphy but the gold standard is coronary angiography . Please seek an appointment with an interventional cardiologist for your mother at the earliest. Hope i have been able tohelp you with your doubts. Take care.
