Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 8 y/o daughter complained of a mild stomach ache and a thick throat. Two hours later she vomitted. Since she said she felt much better with no complaint. She got up 1&1/2 hr to pee, and vomitted again. This time it was thick, and as she described harder to get up. It appeared the consistency of poop, but couldn't tell once it was in toilet. Is this normal?
The consistency of vomits would resemble the food she had taken in earlier and if it gets partially digested then again the food might get little thick.
Consistency does not correlate with the seriousness of illness.Since your daughter has had 2vomits I would suggest that you give her an anti-emetic to control her vomit.
Keep her well hydrated and get her examined by her doctor if she gets dehydrated and not able to eat well.
Bye
