From your query i understood that your child had Wasp sting.
Wasp sting can cause reactions ranging from Local edema to fatal life threatening conditions.
Wasp venom contains toxic components which may induce immune response.
Local reactions are pain, swelling and itching.
systemic reactions are
soft tissue swelling in throat which lead to difficulty in breathing,
hypotension and seizures etc.
if there is no symptoms,
1. Remove the sting by scraping.
2. Control the swelling by using ice.
3. For pain, use NSAIDS,
For itching, use Antihistamines
Following are Serious life threatening reactions, need immediate emergency treatment.
1.
Difficulty breathing or wheezing
2. Trouble speaking
3. Tightness in the throat
4. Nausea,
abdominal pain, or vomiting
5.
Anxiety or dizziness
6. Fast heartbeat or pulse
7. Loss of consciousness
Your child do not have any of serious reaction. So nothing to worry.
Please add antihistamines with tylenol.
